DESCRIPTION

DTCs C2151/51 and C2152/52 are stored when open circuits are detected in the front tire pressure monitor initiator and rear tire pressure monitor initiator by the tire pressure monitor initiator driver and a malfunction signal is sent to the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver.

      Turn the engine switch off.

    2. When DTC C2151/51 is output:


      1. Disconnect the A5 front tire pressure monitor initiator connector.

    3. When DTC C2152/52 is output:


      1. Disconnect the U31 rear tire pressure monitor initiator connector.

    4. Using an oscilloscope, check waveform.

    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. When DTC C2151/51 is output:


      1. Disconnect the A5 front tire pressure monitor initiator connector.

    3. When DTC C2152/52 is output:


      1. Disconnect the U31 rear tire pressure monitor initiator connector.

    4. Disconnect the O42 tire pressure monitor initiator driver connector.

    5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
