FRONT STRUT BAR INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION BRACE BRACKET (for LHD)

   
   

   1. Install the front upper suspension brace bracket to the body with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      29 N*m  { 296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

2. INSTALL FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION BRACE BRACKET (for RHD)

   
   

   1. Install the front upper suspension brace bracket to the body with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      29 N*m  { 296 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

   2. Install the hose clamp to the front upper suspension brace bracket.

3. INSTALL FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION TO COWL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

   
   

   1. Install the front upper suspension to cowl brace sub-assembly LH to the front shock absorber with coil spring (upper side) with the 3 nuts.

      Torque:

      67 N*m  { 683 kgf*cm, 49 ft.*lbf }

4. INSTALL FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION TO COWL BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

   Tech Tips

   Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

5. INSTALL FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION TO COWL BRACE LH

   
   

   1. Install the front upper suspension to cowl brace LH to the front upper suspension to cowl brace sub-assembly LH and front upper suspension brace bracket with the bolt and 3 nuts.

      Torque:

      19 N*m  { 194 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*lbf }

6. INSTALL FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION TO COWL BRACE RH

   Tech Tips

   Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
