REAR ACCELERATION SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/o Spare Tire)

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (w/ Spare Tire)

  5. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY (w/o Spare Tire)

  6. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE FRONT UPPER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

  9. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

  10. SEPARATE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH

  11. REMOVE TORQUE VECTORING DIFFERENTIAL ECU ASSEMBLY (for Torque Vectoring Differential)

  12. REMOVE ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY


    1. for LSD:


      1. Turn back the luggage compartment trim cover RH until the acceleration sensor assembly can be seen.

    2. B00662D

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Remove the bolt and acceleration sensor assembly.

      Note


      • Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor assembly.

      • Do not drop the acceleration sensor assembly. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
