DESCRIPTION

The torque vectoring differential ECU assembly performs zero point learning of the ball cam every time the engine switch is turned on (IG).

If the learning value is abnormal or there is a big difference from the previous learning value stored when the engine switch was turned on, a DTC is stored.

Diagnosis Condition:


  • Both of the following conditions are met:

  • Both the IG power supply and PIG power supply are 10 V or more.

  • TVD is activated.

Abnormal condition:


  • Zero point learning of the motor cam (RH side) is abnormal.

Malfunction Time:


  • 1 second or more

Trip logic:


  • 1 trip detection logic

  • Master Warning Light: Comes on

  • Multi-information Display Error Message: Comes on
C2A2B LH Motor Cam Zero Point Learning Malfunction

Diagnosis Condition:


  • Both of the following conditions are met:

  • Both the IG power supply and PIG power supply are 10 V or more.

  • TVD is activated.

Abnormal condition:


  • Zero point learning of the motor cam (LH side) is abnormal.

Malfunction Time:


  • 1 second or more

Trip logic:


  • 1 trip detection logic

Tip:

If the torque vectoring differential ECU assembly has been replaced, perform "All Learning".

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK DTC OUTPUT (TVD)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / TVD / Trouble Codes.

    4. Check for DTCs.


      1. Chassis > TVD > Trouble Codes


      Result
      Result Proceed to
      DTC C2A2A or DTC C2A2B only is output. A
      DTCs other than DTC C2A2A and DTC C2A2B are output. B
      DTCs are not output. C

      1. Turn the engine switch off.
