DESCRIPTION

If the torque vectoring differential ECU assembly detects a malfunction in either of its pre-driver circuits (TVD motor driving booster circuits), a DTC is stored.

Diagnosis Condition:


  • IG power source voltage is 10 V or more or PIG power source voltage is 10 V or more.

Abnormal condition:


  • Malfunction detected in the pre-driver circuit.

Malfunction Time:


  • 0.1 seconds or more

Trip logic:


  • 1 trip detection logic

 Torque vectoring differential ECU assembly

  • Master Warning Light: Comes on

  • Multi-information Display Error Message: Comes on
C2A09 LH Pre-Driver Circuit

Diagnosis Condition:


  • IG power source voltage is 10 V or more or PIG power source voltage is 10 V or more.

Abnormal condition:


  • Malfunction detected in the pre-driver circuit.

Malfunction Time:


  • 0.1 seconds or more

Trip logic:


  • 1 trip detection logic

 Torque vectoring differential ECU assembly

  • Master Warning Light: Comes on

  • Multi-information Display Error Message: Comes on

Tech Tips

If the torque vectoring differential ECU assembly has been replaced, perform "All Learning".

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (TVD)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Enter the following menus: Chassis / TVD / Trouble Codes.

    4. Check for DTCs.


      Chassis > TVD > Trouble Codes
      Result
      Result Proceed to
      DTC C2A08 or DTC C2A09 only is output. A
      DTCs other than DTC C2A08 and DTC C2A09 are output. B
      DTCs are not output. C

      1. Turn the engine switch off.
