OIL PUMP DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   REMOVE OIL PUMP O-RING

   
   
   1. 

      *1	Oil Pump Assembly
      *2	Oil Pump O-ring

      Remove the oil pump O-ring from the oil pump assembly.

2. Click here

   SECURE OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      *1	Torque Converter Assembly
      *2	Oil Pump Assembly

      Install the oil pump assembly to the torque converter assembly.

3. Click here

   REMOVE CLUTCH DRUM OIL SEAL RING

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the 4 clutch drum oil seal rings from the oil pump assembly.

4. *1 Stator Shaft Spring Sub-assembly *2 Stator Shaft Piston
   Click here

   REMOVE STATOR SHAFT PISTON

   
   

   1. Using a T30 ''TORX'' socket wrench, remove the 5 bolts, stator shaft spring sub-assembly and stator shaft piston from the oil pump assembly.

   2. 

      *1

      O-ring

      Remove the 2 O-rings from the stator shaft piston.

5. Click here

   REMOVE STATOR SHAFT CLUTCH DRUM THRUST WASHER

   
   
   1. 

      *1	Stator Shaft Clutch Drum Thrust Washer

      Remove the stator shaft clutch drum thrust washer from the stator shaft assembly.

   INSPECT STATOR SHAFT SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

7. Click here

   REMOVE STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      *a

      Matchmark

      Put matchmarks on the stator shaft assembly and the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

   2. 

      Using a T30 ''TORX'' socket wrench, remove the 2 bolts and stator shaft assembly from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

8. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Remove the front oil pump body sub-assembly from the torque converter assembly.

9. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP BODY O-RING

   
   
   1. 

      *1	Front Oil Pump Body O-ring

      Remove the front oil pump body O-ring from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

10. Click here

    INSPECT STATOR SHAFT ASSEMBLY

    Click here

11. Click here

    INSPECT FRONT OIL PUMP BODY SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

12. Click here

    INSPECT OIL PUMP ASSEMBLY CLEARANCE

    Click here

    REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVE GEAR

    
    
    1. 

       *1	Front Oil Pump Drive Gear

       Remove the front oil pump drive gear from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

    REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP DRIVEN GEAR

    
    
    1. 

       *1	Front Oil Pump Driven Gear

       Remove the front oil pump driven gear from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

15. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT OIL PUMP OIL SEAL

    
    
    1. 

       *a	Protective Tape

       Using a screwdriver, remove the front oil pump oil seal from the front oil pump body sub-assembly.

       Note:

       Do not damage the front oil pump seal installation surface or front oil pump body sub-assembly.

       Tip:

       Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
