Note
When the oil cooler assembly (for air cooled type) has been removed/installed or the oil cooler hose sub-assembly has been disconnected/reconnected, check the engine oil level after warming up the engine oil to between 100°C and 120°C to open the thermostat between the engine and oil cooler assembly (for air cooled type).

PROCEDURE
INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY
Clean the installation surfaces of the oil thermostat housing assembly.
Install a new O-ring to the oil thermostat housing assembly.
Clean the installation surfaces of the oil cooler assembly.
Install a new O-ring to the oil cooler assembly.
Apply a small amount of engine oil to the oil cooler union bolt.
Install the oil thermostat housing assembly, oil cooler assembly and a new gasket with the oil cooler union bolt and bolt.
Connect the No. 2 water by-pass hose and No. 8 water by-pass hose and slide the 2 clips to secure them.
