If the bolts of the upper engine oil cooler bracket are loosened, the oil cooler assembly may move out of position and interfere with the front bumper assembly. Do not loosen the bolts of the upper engine oil cooler bracket.
When the oil cooler assembly (for air cooled type) has been removed/installed or the oil cooler hose sub-assembly has been disconnected/reconnected, check the engine oil level after warming up the engine oil to between 100°C and 120°C to open the thermostat between the engine and oil cooler assembly (for air cooled type).

REMOVE FRONT WHEEL LH
REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
DRAIN ENGINE OIL
REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY
REMOVE INLET ENGINE OIL COOLER AIR DUCT

Disengage the clamp to disconnect the wire harness from the inlet engine oil cooler air duct.
Remove the 2 bolts.
Disengage the guide to remove the inlet engine oil cooler air duct from the oil cooler assembly.
REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY
Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the oil cooler hose sub-assembly from the oil thermostat housing assembly.
Remove the 2 O-rings from the oil cooler hose sub-assembly.
Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the oil cooler hose sub-assembly from the No. 1 oil cooler bracket.
Remove the 2 bolts and 3 clips to disconnect the outlet engine oil cooler air duct from the front fender liner LH.
Remove the 4 nuts and oil cooler assembly with outlet engine oil cooler air duct from the vehicle body.
Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the oil cooler hose sub-assembly from the oil cooler assembly.
Remove the 3 O-rings from the oil cooler hose sub-assembly.
Remove the 2 bolts and outlet engine oil cooler air duct from the oil cooler assembly.
Remove the 2 nuts, 2 clips and lower engine oil cooler bracket from the oil cooler assembly.
Note
Do not loosen the bolts of the upper engine oil cooler bracket.
