WATER PUMP REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

   Click here

2. Click here

   REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

   Click here

3. Click here

   DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

   Click here

4. Click here

   REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

5. Click here

   DISCONNECT VENTILATION HOSE

   Click here

6. Click here

   REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE

   Click here

7. Click here

   REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

   Click here

8. Click here

   REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT

   Click here

9. Click here

   DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE

   Click here

10. Click here

    REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness clamp bracket from the water inlet housing.

    2. 

       Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose from the water inlet housing.

    3. 

       Remove the 3 bolts and separate the water inlet housing from the engine water pump assembly.

    4. Remove the No. 1 water inlet housing gasket from the engine water pump assembly.

    5. 

       Slide the 2 clips and remove the water inlet hose from the water inlet housing and front water by-pass joint.

    6. 

       Slide the clip and remove the water inlet housing from the No. 3 water by-pass hose.

    REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY

    
    
    1. 

       *a	Protective Tape
       *b	Hold
       *c	Turn

       Using a screwdriver or equivalent, hold the water pump pulley.

       Tip:

       Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.

    REMOVE ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 9 bolts, engine water pump assembly and water pump gasket.
