DESCRIPTION

C120B IG Supply Voltage Low Master cylinder pressure sensor power supply voltage decrease occurs or history of voltage decrease exists, and defective master cylinder pressure sensor output continues for 1 second or more.

  • Master cylinder pressure sensor output defective

  • Skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly)

  • When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform zero point calibration and store system information.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (+BS TERMINAL)

      Front view of wire harness connector

      (to Skid Control ECU (Brake Actuator Assembly))

      Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.

    2. Disconnect the A86 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A86-38 (+BS) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      A86-38 (+BS) - A86-25 (GND1) Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Result
      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

  2. Click here

    RECONFIRM DTC


    1. Turn the engine switch off.

    2. Reconnect the A86 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.

    3. Clear the DTCs.

      1. Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Clear DTCs


    4. Turn the engine switch off.

    5. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    6. Check if the same DTC is output.
