| DTC Code | DTC Name |
|---|---|
| C1460 | Zero Point Calibration of Vertical Acceleration Sensor undone |
DESCRIPTION
The roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor is built into the yaw rate sensor.
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) via CAN communication.
When a malfunction occurs in the communication line to the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor), U110F (Lost Communication With Roll Rate Sensor/Vertical Acceleration Sensor Module) is output.
If a DTC related to the CAN communication line is output, first troubleshoot the CAN communication line.
This DTC is output when roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor zero point calibration is incomplete.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|---|
| C1460 | Zero Point Calibration of Vertical Acceleration Sensor undone | Zero point calibration of the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor is incomplete |
|
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform zero point calibration and store system information.
When replacing or reinstalling the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor), perform zero point calibration and store system information after clearing previously calibrated data.
When U110F is output together with C1460, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by U110F first.

CHECK YAW RATE SENSOR INSTALLATION
Turn the engine switch off.
Check that the roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) has been installed properly.
| OK |
|---|
| The roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) is tightened to the specified torque. |
| The roll rate and vertical acceleration sensor (yaw rate sensor) is not installed in a tilted position. |

READ VALUE USING GTS (ROLL RATE AND VERTICAL ACCELERATION SENSOR)
Select the Data List using the GTS.
| Tester Display | Measurement Item | Range | Normal Condition | Diagnostic Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lateral Acceleration Value | Vertical acceleration sensor output value | Min.: -25.10 m/s2 Max.: 24.90 m/s2 |
During turning: Changes in proportion with acceleration | - |
| Upper and Lower Acceleration Value | Upward and downward acceleration value | Min.: -25.10 m/s2 Max.: 24.90 m/s2 |
With a 9.8 m/s2 (gravitational acceleration) base value, the value increases with upward acceleration and decreases with downward acceleration |
