DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor via CAN communication.
If there is a malfunction in the bus lines between the yaw rate and acceleration sensor and the CAN communication system, DTC U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) are set.
These DTCs are also output when calibration has not been completed.

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
When replacing or reinstalling the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration and store system information after clearing previously calibrated data.
When U0124 is output together with C1419 and/or C1435, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by U0124 first.
PROCEDURE
REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR
Replace the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.
If troubleshooting has been carried out according to Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing parts.
