DRIVE BELT INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

   INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

   
   
   1. 

      *1	Engine Water Pump Assembly
      *2	Scavenging Pump
      *3	No. 2 Idler Pulley Sub-assembly
      *4	Compressor Assembly with Pulley
      *5	Crankshaft Pulley
      *6	V-ribbed Belt Tensioner Assembly
      *7	Generator Assembly

      Install the V-ribbed belt as shown in the illustration.

   2. Rotate the V-ribbed belt tensioner assembly counterclockwise, and then remove the 5 mm bi-hexagon wrench.

      Tip:

      Check that the V-ribbed belt is properly set to each pulley.

   3.

      Start the engine and check that the V-ribbed belt turns smoothly and no abnormal noise occurs.

   CONNECT VENTILATION HOSE

   INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

   INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
