REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B004OJ6C09
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Light Assembly LH (Taillight))

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly LH and check that the light comes on.

      OK
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      P12-2 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

      P12-1 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

      		 Taillight comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light lens and body LH.

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Light Assembly LH (Stop Light))

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly LH and check that the light comes on.

      OK
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      P10-2 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

      P10-1 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

      		 Stop light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light LED.

    3. B004PJHC11
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Light Assembly LH (Rear Fog Light))

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly LH and check that the light comes on. (w/ Rear Fog Light)

      OK
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      P8-2 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

      P8-1 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

      		 Rear fog light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear fog light LED.

  2. INSPECT REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

      Component without harness connected

      (Rear Light Assembly RH (Taillight))

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly RH and check that the light comes on.

      OK
      Tester Connection Specified Condition

      P11-2 (B) - Auxiliary battery positive (+)

      P11-1 (E) - Auxiliary battery negative (-)

      		 Taillight comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light lens and body RH.

      (Rear Light Assembly RH (Stop Light))

      Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear light assembly RH and check that the light comes on.

      		 Stop light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear combination light LED.

      		 Rear fog light comes on

      If the result is not as specified, replace the rear fog light LED.
