DESCRIPTION

A DTC is stored when a malfunction of the No. 1 headlight fan occurs and the low beam headlight is dim. The No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH stores DTC B243D or B243E.

If the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the No. 1 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

PROCEDURE


  1. CLEAR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs
      Result

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    2. Operate the light control switch to turn on the low beam headlights and wait 2 minutes.

    3. Check for DTCs.

    1. Remove the headlight assembly LH.

    2. Remove the headlight unit assembly LH from the headlight assembly LH.

      Click here

    3. Inspect the headlight unit assembly LH.
