PROCEDURE
INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Rain Sensor)
Check the front washer operation (for Wiper Switch RH Side Type).
| *a | Component with harness connected (Windshield Wiper Switch Assembly) |
Connect a voltmeter positive (+) lead to terminal F66-7 (WF) and a negative (-) lead to terminal F66-4 (EW).
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Turn the washer switch on and off, and check the voltage between terminals F66-7 (WF) and F66-4 (EW).
| OK |
|---|
| Voltage changes as shown in the illustration. |
If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper switch assembly.
Check the front washer operation (for Wiper Switch LH Side Type).

INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/o Auto Wiper System)
Check the front wiper intermittent operation (for Wiper Switch RH Side Type).
| *a | Component with harness connected (Windshield Wiper Switch Assembly) |
Connect a voltmeter positive (+) lead to terminal F65-3 (+1) and a negative (-) lead to terminal F66-4 (EW).
Turn the wiper switch to the INT position.
Check the voltage between terminals F65-3 (+1) and F66-4 (EW) with the intermittent wiper operating at different speeds.
| OK |
|---|
| Voltage changes as shown in the illustration. |
If the result is not as specified, replace the windshield wiper switch assembly.
