  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR

  2. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR COVER

    Click here

  3. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR HOLE COVER

      Disengage the 5 claws and guide to remove the outer mirror hole cover.

  4. REMOVE SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 OUTER MIRROR COVER

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the No. 2 outer mirror cover.

  6. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR RETRACTOR

      *a Cut here

      Cut the wire harness sub-assembly at the position shown in the illustration.

    2. A01RH0E

      Disengage the 3 guides and remove the gasket sub-assembly.

      Note

      Make sure to replace the gasket sub-assembly with a new one.

      Disengage the 5 claws and guide to remove the lower cover.

    4. A01RKH5

      Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws and base sub-assembly.

    5. A01RIV0

      Remove the 3 screws.

    6. A01RKFW

      Disconnect the connector.

    7. Disengage the 2 clamps.

    8. A01RJ8O

      Disconnect the connector to remove the actuator sub-assembly.

      B004PI4 Remove in this Direction

      Pull the wire harness sub-assembly through the frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to remove the wire harness sub-assembly.

      Note

      Make sure to replace the wire harness sub-assembly with a new one.

      Remove the 2 screws.

    11. A01RI9E

      Remove the 2 screws and frame sub-assembly from the housing.

      Note

      Make sure to replace the frame sub-assembly with a new one.
