BLOWER UNIT REMOVAL

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during blower unit removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    Make sure to perform initialization after replacing the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly. If initialization is not performed, the air conditioner unit assembly will not perform properly as the air conditioning amplifier assembly will not be able to recognize the position of the No. 1 blower damper servo sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONER UNIT ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR DUCT (for LHD)

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR DUCT (for RHD)

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE (w/ PTC Heater)

  6. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY


    1. for LHD:


      1. A01VCWU

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage 4 guides.

      3. A01VCQY

        Remove the 2 screws.

      4. Disengage the 2 claws and 3 guides and remove the blower assembly from the air conditioning radiator assembly.

    2. for RHD:


      1. A01VC2Q

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage 2 guides.

      3. A01VC6L

        Remove the 2 screws.

      4. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides and remove the blower assembly from the air conditioning radiator assembly.
