FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Power Seat) DISASSEMBLY

  • Power seat is available only on the driver side.

  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The following procedure is for LHD vehicles.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

  2. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Remove the clip.

      Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

    3. B004QCT

      Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    4. B004OLS

      Disengage the 3 guides to remove the front seat inner No. 1 cushion shield LH.

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Disengage the 2 claws.

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides.

      B004PI4 Remove in this direction

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

      Disconnect the front power seat switch LH connector to remove the front seat cushion shield LH.

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Disengage the 2 claws.

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  7. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT SIDE NO. 1 BRACKET LH

      Remove the 2 screws and front seat side No. 1 bracket LH from the front seat cushion shield LH.

  9. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

      Disconnect the connector.

    3. Disengage the clamp.

    4. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the front seatback heater assembly LH connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

    5. B004OZR

      Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly LH wire harness.

      Tech Tips

      Disengage the 4 clamps first.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    7. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Disengage the 3 hooks.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disengage the clamp.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

      Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Seatback Cover Hook

      Pull up the pin of the seatback cover hook as shown in the illustration and remove the seatback cover hook.

      *1 Seat Cover Hanger
      *a Bracket

      Slide the bracket as shown in the illustration to disengage the hook and disconnect the bracket from the seat cover hanger.

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 17 claws and remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

  16. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR


    1. Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the lumbar support adjuster assembly LH.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK

      Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the front seatback frame sub-assembly LH.

  19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE LH


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat No. 2 wire LH.

  20. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp to separate the front seat cushion heater assembly LH wire harness.

    2. Disengage the 10 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  21. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 13 claws and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration.

  23. REMOVE LH SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the LH seat reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH


    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire LH.

  28. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

      Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly LH from the front seat adjuster assembly LH.

  29. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER LH

      Remove the 2 screws.

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    3. Disengage the guide to remove the front seat cushion wire harness holder LH as shown in the illustration.

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Disengage the claw.

      Disengage the guide to remove the front seat lower No. 1 cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

  31. REMOVE POWER SEAT LIFTER MOTOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the power seat lifter motor assembly.

        Remove the 3 nuts and front seat adjuster plate.

        Remove the vertical adjuster spacer.

      3. B004QXI

        Remove the front seat vertical housing sub-assembly.

  32. REMOVE POWER SEAT TILT MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 3 bolts and power seat tilt motor assembly.
