PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR (for Driver Side)


    1. w/ Airbag Cut Off Switch:

  2. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)

  3. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

    Click here

  6. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

      Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  7. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Driver Side)

      B004PI4 Remove in this direction

      Operate the vertical adjusting handle and using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the vertical adjusting handle as shown in the illustration.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 RECLINING HINGE COVER

      *a Protective Tape

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw.

    2. Disengage the guide to remove the No. 1 reclining hinge cover.

  9. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

      Remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

  10. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP (for Driver Side)

      B004PI4 Remove in this direction (1)
      B004OIV Remove in this direction (2)

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the seat adjuster cover cap as shown in the illustration.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the 2 claws.

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides.

      B004PI4 Remove in this direction

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the guide to remove the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

      w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. Disengage the 2 clamps.

      2. Disconnect the front lumbar power seat switch connector.

  12. REMOVE FRONT LUMBAR POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/ Lumbar Support)

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the 2 claws.

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the 2 claws.

      Disengage the claw and 2 guides.

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the guide to remove the front seat cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

  15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD (for Front Passenger Side)

      Disengage the 3 claws.

      Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield as shown in the illustration.

  16. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    2. w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. B004OMN

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. w/ Seat Heater System:


      1. B004OYE

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

      Tech Tips

      Disengage the 4 clamps first.

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    6. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback assembly from the separate type front seat cushion assembly.

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

      Disengage the 3 hooks.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disengage the clamp.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

    4. w/o Airbag Cut Off Switch:

        Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

        *1 Seatback Cover Hook
        *a Pin

        Pull up the pin of the seatback cover hook as shown in the illustration and remove the seatback cover hook.

      3. B004PCXC01
        *1 Seat Cover Hanger
        *a Bracket
        B004PI4 Remove in this direction

        Slide the bracket as shown in the illustration to disengage the hook and disconnect the bracket from the seat cover hanger.

      Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD


    1. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER


    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 17 claws and remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  24. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR (w/ Lumbar Support)


    1. Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

  25. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR (w/o Lumbar Support)


    1. Remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

  26. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK

      Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE (w/ Lumbar Support)

      Disengage the clamp to remove the front seat No. 2 wire.

  28. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD


    1. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to separate the front seat cushion heater assembly wire harness.

        Tech Tips

        Disengage the 4 clamps first.

      Disengage the 2 hooks.

    3. Disengage the 10 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  29. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 13 claws and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad as shown in the illustration.

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the RH seat reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

  38. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH (for Driver Side)


    1. w/ Lumbar Support:


      1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire LH.

  39. REMOVE FRONT SEAT NO. 2 WIRE LH (for Driver Side)

      w/ Airbag Cut Off Switch:


      1. Disengage the clamp.

      2. Disengage the claw to remove the front seat No. 2 wire LH.

  40. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. w/ Occupant Classification System:


      1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire RH.

  41. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the front seat cushion wire harness holder.

  42. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring sub-assembly from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  43. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the seat track adjusting handle from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  44. REMOVE FRONT SEAT VERTICAL ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)


    1. Remove the front seat vertical adjuster assembly.

        Remove the 3 nuts and vertical adjuster plate.

      2. B004QSX

        Remove the vertical adjuster spacer.

      3. B004Q0L

        Remove the front vertical adjuster brake sub-assembly.

  45. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER (for Driver Side)

      Disengage the claw to remove the vertical adjuster bracket cover from the front vertical adjuster brake sub-assembly.
