FRONT SEATBACK HEATER(for Power Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (LH SIDE)

      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seatback Heater Assembly (LH Side))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F-1 - F-2 Seat heatertemperature 20 °C (68 °F) 1.7 to 2.0 Ω
      F-1 - F-3 Seat heatertemperature 20 °C (68 °F) 3.3 to 4.0 Ω
      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G-1 - G-2 Seat heatertemperature 20 °C (68 °F) 1.7 to 2.0 Ω
      G-1 - G-3 Seat heatertemperature 20 °C (68 °F) 3.3 to 4.0 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater assenmbly (LH side).

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY (RH SIDE)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      for RHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F-1 - F-2 Seat heatertemperature 20 °C (68 °F) 1.7 to 2.0 Ω
      F-1 - F-3 Seat heatertemperature 20 °C (68 °F) 3.3 to 4.0 Ω
      for LHD
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G-1 - G-2 Seat heatertemperature 20 °C (68 °F) 1.7 to 2.0 Ω
      G-1 - G-3 Seat heatertemperature 20 °C (68 °F) 3.3 to 4.0 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback heater assembly (RH side).
