LIGHTING SYSTEM Door Unlock Detection Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects the condition of each door unlock detection switch.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      LOCK: Front door RH locked

    1. Remove the front door lock with motor assembly LH.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the 3D instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      J4-8 (LSSR) - 3D-13 Always Below 1 Ω
      J4-8 (LSSR) or 3D-13 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      J4-7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  4. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    2. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
