PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE REAR SIDE ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  2. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  3. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  4. REMOVE REAR SIDE ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  5. REMOVE REAR CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  6. REMOVE REAR CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System)

  7. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    Click here

  8. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE NO. 3 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE


    1. A01RI2D

      w/o TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Disengage the 7 clamps and remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.

    2. A01RKOY

      w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:


      1. Disengage the 12 clamps and remove the No. 3 luggage room wire.

  10. REMOVE LOWER REAR BUMPER COVER

      *a Hook
      B004PI4 Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the hook to remove the lower rear bumper cover.

  11. REMOVE CENTER REAR BUMPER GUARD (for Type A)


    1. A01RJIH

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01RJP3C01
      B004PI4 Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the 14 claws as shown in the illustration to remove the center rear bumper guard.

  12. REMOVE CENTER REAR BUMPER GUARD (for Type B)


    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the 2 clips.

      A01RKAL

    3. Disengage the 16 claws as shown in the illustration to remove the center rear bumper guard.

  13. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION FILLER LH (for Type A)


    1. A01RIFB

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. A01RHS7C01
      B004PI4 Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the 3 claws and 2 guides as shown in the illustration to remove the rear bumper extension filler LH.

  14. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION FILLER LH (for Type B)


    1. A01RLWM

      Remove the 2 clips.

    2. A01RIZXC01
      B004PI4 Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the 3 claws and 2 guides as shown in the illustration to remove the rear bumper extension filler LH.

  15. REMOVE REAR BUMPER EXTENSION FILLER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PAD

      Remove the No. 1 rear bumper pad.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 REAR BUMPER PAD

      Remove the No. 2 rear bumper pad.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  18. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SEAL


    1. A01RLKW

      Remove the rear bumper arm seal.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  19. REMOVE NO. 3 REAR BUMPER PAD


    1. A01RHEW

      Remove the No. 3 rear bumper pad.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  20. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      B004PI4 Remove in this Direction

      Disengage the 3 clips as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01RKZLC01
      B004PI4 Remove in this Direction (1)
      B004OIV Remove in this Direction (2)

      Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration to remove the rear bumper side retainer LH.

  21. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  22. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH

      *1 Rear Bumper Side Clip

      Remove the rear bumper side clip.

    2. Remove the 3 clips and rear bumper side seal LH.

  23. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  24. REMOVE REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    for Reinforcement Type A:


    1. A01RK3T

      Remove the 8 bolts and rear bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.

  25. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

    for Reinforcement Type B:


    1. A01RIQI

      Remove the 6 bolts and No. 1 rear bumper reinforcement.

  26. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    for Reinforcement Type B:


    1. A01RIIU

      Remove the 4 bolts and rear bumper arm sub-assembly LH.

  27. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

    for Reinforcement Type B:
