NAVIGATION SYSTEM(for Radio and Display Type) Navigation Voice Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Component Amplifier

DESCRIPTION

This circuit is used when the voice guidance of the navigation system is on or the voice switch of the steering pad switch assembly is pushed.

Using this circuit, the navigation ECU sends signals to the stereo component amplifier assembly via the radio and display receiver assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the F33 radio and display receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the F61 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester connection Condition Specified condition
      F61-15 (II1+) - F33-2 (RL+) Always Below 1 Ω
      F61-14 (II1-) - F33-6 (RL-) Always Below 1 Ω
      F61-18 (SLD1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F61-15 (II1+) or F33-2 (RL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F61-14 (II1-) or F33-6 (RL-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
