The necessary procedures (adjustment, calibration, initialization, or registration) that must be performed after parts are removed and installed, or replaced during antenna cord sub-assembly removal/installation are shown below.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 KNEE PROTECTOR BRACKET (for LHD)

  5. REMOVE NO. 3 KNEE PROTECTOR BRACKET (for LHD)

  6. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. for LHD:


      1. Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

      1. Disengage the 4 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  7. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. w/ Navigation Antenna:


      1. Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o Digital Audio Broadcasting Antenna or Television Antenna:


      1. Remove the adhesive tape from the roof headlining assembly.

    2. w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting Antenna or Television Antenna:


      1. Disengage each clamp.

      2. Remove the adhesive tape from the roof headlining assembly.

    3. Remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly from the roof headlining assembly.

  10. REMOVE NO. 5 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. w/ Digital Audio Broadcasting Antenna or Television Antenna:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp and remove the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly.

  11. REMOVE NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the claw.

    3. Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.

  12. REMOVE BACK DOOR UPPER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

  13. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. REMOVE NO. 4 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disconnect the washer hose.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to collect the windshield washer fluid.

    3. Disengage the 3 clamps.

      Disconnect the connector.

    5. Disconnect the washer hose.

      Tech Tips

      Use a container to collect the windshield washer fluid.

    6. Disengage the clamp.

      Disengage the 8 claws to separate the 2 grommets.

      Note

      When reusing the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly, make sure to replace the No. 1 wire harness protector and No. 2 wire harness protector with new ones as reusing them may cause water ingress.

    8. Remove the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    9. When reusing the No. 4 antenna cord sub-assembly:


      1. for Back Door Side:

          *b Washer Hose

          Remove the tape to disconnect the antenna cord and washer hose from the No. 2 wire harness protector.

          Remove the tape to disconnect the rubber protrusion of the grommet from the No. 2 wire harness protector.

        B004PI4 Remove in this Direction

        Separate the No. 1 wire harness protector from the grommet as shown in the illustration.

        Tech Tips

        Use the same procedure for the No. 2 wire harness protector.

        Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration and remove the No. 1 wire harness protector.
