FRONT DOOR SPEAKER INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 6 Speakers)

   
   

   1. With the speaker installed, check that there is no looseness or other abnormalities.

   2. Check that there is no foreign matter in the speaker, no tears on the speaker cone or other abnormalities.

   3. 

      *A	for RH
      *B	for LH
      *a	Component without harness connected (Front No. 1 Speaker Assembly)

      Measure the resistance of the speaker.

      Standard Resistance
      for RH Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I1-1 - I1-2 Always 3.2 to 4.8 Ω

      Standard Resistance
      for LH Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J1-1 - J1-2 Always 3.2 to 4.8 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the speaker.

2. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 10 Speakers)

   
   

   1. With the speaker installed, check that there is no looseness or other abnormalities.

   2. Check that there is no foreign matter in the speaker, no tears on the speaker cone or other abnormalities.

   3. 

      *A	for RH
      *B	for LH
      *a	Component without harness connected (Front No. 1 Speaker Assembly)

      Measure the resistance of the speaker.

      Standard Resistance
      for RH Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition I1-1 - I1-2 Always 4.6 to 7.0 Ω

      Standard Resistance
      for LH Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition J1-1 - J1-2 Always 4.6 to 7.0 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the speaker.
