ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1442, C1443

DTC Code DTC Name
C1442 Invalid Data Received from Deceleration Sensor
C1443 Invalid Data Received from Yaw Rate Sensor

DESCRIPTION

The airbag ECU assembly has a built-in yaw rate and acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition using 2 circuits (GL1, GL2).

The skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) via the CAN communication system.

DTC No. Detection Item INF Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area Note
C1442 Invalid Data Received from Deceleration Sensor 572 When voltage at terminal IG1 is 9.54 V or more, sensor invalid information received from acceleration sensor is ON continuously for 10 seconds or more.
  • Acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly)

  • Acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) installed improperly

ABS DTC
C1443 Invalid Data Received from Yaw Rate Sensor 715 When voltage at terminal IG1 is 9.54 V or more, sensor invalid information received from yaw rate sensor is ON continuously for 10 seconds or more.
  • Yaw rate sensor (airbag ECU assembly)

  • Yaw rate sensor (airbag ECU assembly) installed improperly

VSC DTC

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

After replacing or reinstalling the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly), perform yaw rate and acceleration sensor zero point calibration after clearing previously calibrated data.
