      2.4 kgf/cm2

for Europe and Australia 195/65R15 91H 35 psi
except Europe and Australia 195/65R15 91H 220 kPa
except Europe and Australia 195/65R15 91H

      2.2 kgf/cm2

except Europe and Australia 195/65R15 91H 32 psi
      - 215/45R17 87W 210 kPa
      - 215/45R17 87W

      2.1 kgf/cm2

      - 215/45R17 87W 30 psi
Cold Tire Inflation Pressure (for Compact Spare Tire)
      Tire Size Specified Condition
      T125/70D17 98M 420 kPa
      T125/70D17 98M

      4.2 kgf/cm2

      T125/70D17 98M 60 psi

      1. Perform initialization.

      2. Tire pressure adjustment method when warm:

        1. Turn the power switch off.

        2. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

        3. Turn the power switch on (IG).

        4. Turn the GTS on.

        5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.

        6. Adjust the tire pressure so that the displayed value is equal to the set pressure.

        7. Perform initialization and check that initialization completes.

          Tech Tips

        8. Check and record the value of the Data List item "Temperature in Tire". (Ts)

        9. Check and record the ambient temperature during tire pressure adjustment. (Tm)

        10. Readjust the tire pressure according to the difference between the tire internal temperature (Ts) and the ambient temperature (Tm). (P)

          Tech Tips

Tire internal temperature: Ts, Ambient temperature: Tm, Tire pressure readjustment value: P

          P = (Specified Pressure) + (Ts - Tm)

        11. Check the pressure adjustment value with the Data List item "Tire Inflation Pressure".

        Note

        for ECE-R64 Type:

If the tire pressure is decreased approximately 20 kPa (0.2 kgf/cm2, 2.9 psi) or more in order to adjust the tire pressure, even if the adjusted tire pressure is 80% or more than the tire pressure set during system initialization, the tire pressure warning light may illuminate if the tire pressure drops below 80% of the tire pressure set when the tires are warmed. In this case, perform initialization again.

    2. B004PTD

Using a dial indicator, check the runout of the tires.

      Maximum Tire Runout
      Specified Condition
      1.4 mm
      0.0551 in.

      Tech Tips

Measure the runout with the wheel assembly removed from the vehicle.

  2. ROTATE TIRES

    1. Remove the wheel assembly.

    2. B004R0XC02
      B004PRK Front

If the spare tire uses a different type of wheel than the other tires, rotate the tires as shown by (A) in the illustration. If the spare tire has the same type of wheel as the other tires, rotate the tires, including the spare tire, as shown by (B) in the illustration.

    3. Install the wheel assembly.

  3. INSPECT AND ADJUST WHEEL BALANCE

    1. B004QEIC01
      *a 25 mm (0.984 in.)

Inspect and adjust the off-the-car balance.

      Maximum Wheel Imbalance
      Specified Condition
      8.0 g
      0.0176 lb

      Note

      • Use a cleaning detergent to remove dirt, oil and water from the surface where the balance weight is to be adhered.

      • Do not touch the adhesive surface of the balance weight.

      • Adhere a stick-on type balance weight to the flat surface*a shown in the illustration.

      • Push the balance weight with your finger to securely adhere it to the desired position.

      • Do not reuse balance weights.

      • Use only TOYOTA genuine stick-on type balance weights or equivalent.

      Tech Tips

      • Use clip-on type balance weights for the inner side, and stick-on type balance weights for the outer side.

      • If the tires vibrate even after the off-the-car balance adjustment, adjust the wheel balance with on-the-car balancing as necessary.
