When it is judged that the front side sensors have not been initialized, the clearance warning ECU assembly stores DTC C1AF5.

Note

If DTC C1AF5 is output after performing repairs, turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the TOYOTA parking assist-sensor system on to clear the DTC.

PROCEDURE


  1. INITIALIZE FRONT SIDE ULTRASONIC SENSOR


    1. Initialize the front side ultrasonic sensor LH and RH.

  2. CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Using the GTS, check for DTCs according to the prompts on the screen.

      Tech Tips

      After turning the power switch from off to on (IG), wait 10 seconds or more before checking for DTCs.

      Tech Tips
