FRONT BUMPER(except Sport Package) DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

5. REMOVE NO. 2 HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER BRACKET (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Click here

7. REMOVE NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

   
   

   1. w/o Panoramic View Monitor System:

      Disconnect the 4 connectors.

   2. w/ Panoramic View Monitor System:

      Disconnect the 5 connectors.

   3. Detach the 8 clamps and remove the No. 3 engine room wire.

8. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

9. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

10. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

11. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

12. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

13. REMOVE CLEARANCE LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

14. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)

15. REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)

16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 3 screws and front bumper guard cover LH.

17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

18. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 2 RETAINER BRACKET

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 3 screws.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper No. 2 retainer bracket.

19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 1 RETAINER BRACKET

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the front bumper No. 2 retainer bracket.

20. REMOVE AIR INTAKE DUCT LH

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the 2 clips

    2. Detach the 2 guides and remove the air intake duct LH.

21. REMOVE AIR INTAKE DUCT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

22. REMOVE HOOD TO RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

    
    

    1. 

       Detach the 14 clips and remove the hood to radiator grille seal.

23. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY

24. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD

    
    

    1. Remove the 2 clips labeled A.

    2. Remove the 8 clips labeled B.

    3. Detach the 8 claws and remove the front bumper guard.
