HAZARD WARNING SWITCH INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (HAZARD WARNING SWITCH)


    1. Remove the air conditioning control assembly.

    2. Inspect the hazard warning switch.

        Component without harness connected

        (Air Conditioner Control Assembly (Hazard Warning Switch))

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        9 (HAZ) - 14 (GND) Hazard warning switch off 10 kΩ or higher
        Hazard warning switch on Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the air conditioner control assembly.
