REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT RETAINER LH

    Tech Tips

    In order to make positioning the rear combination light retainer LH easier, install the rear combination light retainer LH to the rear combination light assembly LH.


    1. Attach the 2 guides to install the rear combination light retainer LH to the rear combination light assembly LH.

    2. Attach the wire harness clamp.

  2. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. B002H9X

      Attach the guide and pin.

    2. Install the rear combination light retainer LH bolt.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }
    3. B002H65

      Pass the wire harness into the vehicle and connect the grommet.

    4. Install the 2 bolts.

    5. Place your hand between the deck trim side panel assembly LH and the body to connect the connector.

  3. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT COVER LH


    1. B002IAS

      Attach the 7 claws to install the rear combination light cover LH.

  4. CONNECT DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Connect the rear side of the deck trim side panel assembly LH.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK

  6. INSTALL LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY

  7. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE

  8. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/o Spare Tire)

  9. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/ Spare Tire)

    Click here

  10. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH (w/o Spare Tire)

  11. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH (w/ Spare Tire)

  12. INSTALL NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  13. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY

  14. INSTALL SPARE TIRE (w/ Spare Tire)

  19. INSPECT REAR COMBINATION LIGHT


    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    2. Turn the headlight dimmer switch assembly to the tail or head position and check that the taillight illuminates.

    3. Turn the side turn signal switch left to right and check that the side turn signal light illuminates.

    4. Depress the brake pedal and check that the brake light illuminates.
