Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure described below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Attach the 2 claws to install the clearance light assembly LH.

    2. Install the 3 screws and clip.

    3. Attach the 2 wire harness clamps.

    4. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:


      1. Attach the hose clamp.

      2. Attach the claw to connect the headlight cleaner hose.

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  3. INSPECT CLEARANCE LIGHT


    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    2. Turn the headlight dimmer switch to the tail position and check that the clearance light illuminates.

    3. Turn the headlight dimmer switch to the AUTO position and check that the day time runnning light illuminates.

      Tech Tips

      The day time running light illuminates when all of the following conditions are met.

      • The headlight dimmer switch is turned to the AUTO position (and the low beam headlights are not turned on via the automatic light control system).

      • The ambient illuminance is determined to be daytime via the automatic light control sensor.

      • The parking brake is released.

    4. Turn the side turn signal switch left to right and check that the side turn signal light illuminates.
