DESCRIPTION

The headlight ECU sub-assembly LH detects the ON/OFF signal of the combination switch assembly (adaptive high beam switch).

If the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH has been replaced, it is necessary to synchronize the vehicle information and initialize the headlight ECU sub-assembly LH.

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > AFS > Data List

      ON: Combination switch assembly (adaptive high beam switch) is operated

  2. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY (ADAPTIVE HIGH BEAM SWITCH)


    1. Remove the combination switch assembly (adaptive high beam switch).

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY [ADAPTIVE HIGH BEAM SWITCH] - HEADLIGHT ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the I33 combination switch assembly (adaptive high beam switch) connector.

    2. Disconnect the A19 headlight ECU sub-assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I33-1 (+B) - A19-6 (AZSW) Always Below 1 Ω
      I33-10 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      I33-1 (+B) or A19-6 (AZSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
