DESCRIPTION

The combination meter receives the turn signal switch information and controls the turn signal lights.

When replacing the combination meter assembly, make sure to replace it with a new one.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (TURN SIGNAL SWITCH)


    1. Using the GTS, read the Data List.

      ON: Turn signal switch (right) on

  2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (TURN SIGNAL SWITCH)


    1. Remove the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

    2. Inspect the headlight dimmer switch assembly.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY AND BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the I126*1 or I31*2 headlight dimmer switch assembly connector.

      *1: for LH Side

      *2: for RH Side

    2. Disconnect the I11 combination meter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LH Side
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I126-11 (TL) - I11-4 (EL) Always Below 1 Ω
      I126-12 (TR) - I11-3 (ER)
      I126-13 (CR) - I11-8 (SW)
      I126-15 (EL) - Body ground
      I126-11 (TL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I126-12 (TR) - Body ground
      I26-13 (CR) - Body ground
      for RH Side
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I31-19 (TL) - I11-4 (EL) Always Below 1 Ω
      I31-20 (TR) - I11-3 (ER)
      I31-18 (CR) - I11-8 (SW)
      I31-16 (EL) - Body ground
      I31-19 (TL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I31-20 (TR) - Body ground
      I31-18 (CR) - Body ground
