FRONT WIPER MOTOR ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for LHD)


    1. for LH Side:


      1. A01COG9C01
        *1 Ceramic Dot
        *2 Louver Lip Edge
        *a 34 mm (1.3386 in.)
        *b 7.5 mm (0.2953 in.)

        Check the stop (park) position.

      2. Operate the windshield wiper motor assembly.

      3. Stop the windshield wiper motor assembly operation.

      4. Check the automatic stop (park) position.

        Tech Tips

        After the front wiper motor is stopped, check the automatic stop position after lifting the wiper blade 2 times.

        The front wiper stops at the position shown in the illustration.

    2. for RH Side:


      1. A01CN8AC01
        *1 Ceramic Dot
        *2 Fender to Cowl Seal Lip Edge
        *a 28.4 mm (1.1181 in.)
        *b 7.5 mm (0.2953 in.)

        Check the stop (park) position.

      2. Operate the windshield wiper motor assembly.

      3. Stop the windshield wiper motor assembly operation.

      4. Check the automatic stop (park) position.

        Tech Tips

        After the front wiper motor is stopped, check the automatic stop position after lifting the wiper blade 2 times.

  2. INSPECT WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY (for RHD)


    1. for LH Side:


      1. A01CN3OC01
        *1 Ceramic Dot
        *2 Fender to Cowl Seal Lip Edge
        *a 28.4 mm (1.1181 in.)
        *b 7.5 mm (0.2953 in.)

        Check the stop (park) position.

      2. Operate the windshield wiper motor assembly.

      3. Stop the windshield wiper motor assembly operation.

      4. Check the automatic stop (park) position.

        Tech Tips

        After the front wiper motor is stopped, check the automatic stop position after lifting the wiper blade 2 times.
