If the replacement, removal and installation of the multiplex network door ECU or disconnection of the connectors of the multiplex network door ECU has been performed, initialize the power back door system.

    1. Clear the DTCs.

    2. Check for DTCs.

  2. READ VALUE USING GTS


    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU - POWER BACK DOOR SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH)


    1. Disconnect the Y25 multiplex network door ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the Y9 power back door sensor assembly LH connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      Y25-26 (OSL) - Y9-1 (OSL) Always Below 1 Ω
      Y25-24 (OSE) - Y9-2 (OSLE) Always Below 1 Ω
      Y25-26 (OSL) or Y9-1 (OSL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      Y25-24 (OSE) or Y9-2 (OSLE) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
