Tech Tips


  • Use the same procedure for RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedures listed below are for LHD vehicles.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH (for L-Sport)

    Tech Tips


    • When installing the seat cover, refer to the precautions in order to prevent wrinkles from forming.

    • Align the seam allowance in a single direction as shown in the illustration.

    1. A01H66FC01
      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover LH to the separate type front seat cushion pad LH with 4 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      Return the seat cover wire to its original position.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both seat cover wires.

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover LH to the separate type front seat cushion pad LH with 14 new hog rings in the order indicated in the illustration.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      *1 Hog Ring Pliers

      Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION WITH COVER PAD LH (for F-Sport)


    1. Temporarily install the front seat cushion with cover pad LH.

    2. for Front Passenger Side, w/o Occupant Classification System:

      Attach the claw to connect the occupant detection sensor connector.

    3. Attach the 10 hooks.

    4. Attach the 2 hooks.

    5. for Front Passenger Side, w/o Occupant Classification System:


      1. Connect the occupant detection sensor connector.

      *1 Wire Harness Clamp
      *2 Connector Clamp
      *3 Connector Lock

      Attach the 3 clamps to connect the seat heater wire harness.

    7. Attach the clamp to connect the connector.

    8. Connect the connector.

    9. Connect the seat heater control connector.

    10. Install the connector lock.

      Attach the clamp to connect the seat heater wire harness.

    12. Connect the connector.

      B002K10 Fastening Tape

      Attach the fastening tape to connect the front seat side airbag wire harness.
