ILLUMINATION CONTROL SYSTEM (Illuminated Entry System)
Tech Tips
When inspecting the following functions, make sure that the map light switch and spot light switch are in the DOOR position.
The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:
| Control | Outline | Lighting |

| Actuation Area-linked | When a registered key is brought within any vehicle exterior detection area around the doors, the items listed to the right turn on. |
|
| Door Lock/Unlock-linked*3 | When any door is unlocked, the items listed to the right turn on. |
|
| When all doors are locked, the items listed to the right turn off. |
|
|
| Door Open/Close-linked | When any door is opened, the items listed to the right turn on. |
|
| When all doors are closed, the items listed to the right turn off. |
|
|
| When all doors are closed, the items listed to the right dim, and then slowly turn off. |
|
|
| Power Switch-linked | When the power switch is turned from on (ACC) or on (IG) to off, the items listed to the right turn on. |
|
| When the power switch is turned from off to on (ACC) or on (IG) the items listed to the right turn on. |

*1: Dims (slightly dark illumination)
*2: w/ Navigation System
*3: The map light assembly and spot light assembly both dim (slightly dark illumination). Also, the No. 1 interior illumination light assembly illuminates.
BATTERY SAVING CONTROL SYSTEM
The battery saving control system has the following control functions:

| Interior light auto cut function | The illumination of the items listed on the right will turn off 20 minutes after the power switch is turned off, regardless of whether the doors are open or closed and regardless of the map light and spot light switch position. |
