PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Spare Tire)

  4. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/ Spare Tire)

  5. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH (w/ Spare Tire)

  6. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

  7. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM COVER LH

  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH

  9. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL

    1. Disconnect the connector.

      *A w/o Double Locking System *B w/ Double Locking System
      *1 Release Plate - -
      B002H26 Downward - -

    2. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws.

    3. Slide the rear door lock assembly LH downward, and pull the release plate out of the rear door outside handle frame sub-assembly LH.

  19. REMOVE DOOR LOCK WIRING HARNESS SEAL

      Remove the door lock wiring harness seal from the rear door lock assembly LH.

  20. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Detach the 2 claws.

    2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 guides and remove the rear door lock cover sub-assembly LH from the rear door lock assembly LH.

  21. REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY LH

      w/o Double Locking System:


      1. Detach the clamp and remove the rear door lock remote control cable assembly LH from the rear door lock assembly LH.

    2. B002KUG

      w/ Double Locking System:


      1. Detach the clamp and remove the rear door lock remote control cable assembly LH from the rear door lock assembly LH.

  22. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY LH

      w/o Double Locking System:


      1. Detach the clamp and remove the rear door inside locking cable assembly LH from the rear door lock assembly LH.

    2. w/ Double Locking System:


      1. B002HTX

        Using a screwdriver, detach the claw.

      2. Detach the 2 guides and open the cover.

      3. B002HNG

        Detach the clamp and remove the rear door inside locking cable assembly LH from the rear door lock assembly LH.
