DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a connection malfunction, such as an open, is detected in the wire harness between the stereo component equalizer assembly and No. 1 speaker assembly with box.

PROCEDURE


  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Using the GTS, perform the Active Test.

  2. INSPECT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX


    1. Remove the No. 1 speaker assembly with box.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT EQUALIZER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX)


    1. Disconnect the I117 stereo component equalizer assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the I118 No. 1 speaker assembly with box connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I117-16 (SPO+) - I118-1 Always Below 1 Ω
      I117-15 (SPO-) - I118-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      I117-16 (SPO+) or I118-1 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I117-15 (SPO-) or I118-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
