DESCRIPTION

The No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly sends the sound data signal or image data signal from a USB device to the radio receiver assembly via this circuit.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the I142 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the I143 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I142-2 (US1-) - I143-2 (US1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      I142-3 (US1+) - I143-3 (US1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      I142-5 (USG1) - I143-5 (USG1) Always Below 1 Ω
      I142-2 (US1-) or I143-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I142-3 (US1+) or I143-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      I142-5 (USG1) or I143-5 (USG1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
