ULTRASONIC SENSOR(for Front) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

   
   

   1. for Sport Package:

      Click here

   2. except Sport Package:

      Click here

3. REMOVE NO. 3 ENGINE ROOM WIRE

   
   

   1. for Sport Package:

      Click here

   2. except Sport Package:

      Click here

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

   
   

   1. 

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both No. 1 ultrasonic sensors.

5. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

   
   

   1. 

      Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor.

      Tech Tips

      
      

      • The illustration shows the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor for the LH corner. The horizontal orientation of the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor for the RH corner is opposite that of the image shown in the illustration.

      • Use the same procedure for both No. 2 ultrasonic sensors.

6. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (except Sport Package)

   
   

   1. Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the front bumper cover.

   2. 

      Remove the old double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for both No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

7. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer from the front bumper cover.

   2. Remove the old double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

      • The illustration shows the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer for the back sensor retainer for the RH corner. The vertical orientation of the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer for the RH sensor retainer LH is opposite that of the image shown in the illustration.

      • Use the same procedure for both No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainers.
