TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

    Note

    Before installing the transmission control cable assembly, check that the shift lever position sensor and the shift lever are in neutral.


    1. B002JCC

      Install the transmission control cable assembly to the body with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }
    2. B002KBGN01

      Install the transmission control cable assembly to the body with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      Bolt A
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }
      Bolt B
      5.0 N*m  { 51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf }

    3. Connect the transmission control cable assembly with the 2 clamps.

      Turn the control shaft lever clockwise until it stops. Next, turn the control shaft lever counterclockwise 2 notches to set it to N.

      Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket, and install a new clip.

    6. Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the control shaft lever with the nut.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY

  6. CONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

  7. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for Standard)

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 SPEAKER WITH BOX ASSEMBLY (for Sport Package)
