DESCRIPTION

The driving support ECU assembly communicates with each sensor and ECU via CAN communication.

If any malfunction is detected in a CAN communication circuit, one or more CAN communication system DTCs are stored.

U0122 Lost Communication With Vehicle Dynamics Control Module

    w/o Full-speed range following function:

  • While the vehicle speed is 36 km/h (22 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) is detected for approximately 2.6 seconds or more.


    w/ Full-speed range following function:

  • While the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the hybrid vehicle control ECU and the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) is detected for approximately 2.6 seconds or more.

U0125 Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module

    w/ Full-speed range following function:

  • While the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more and the dynamic radar cruise control system is operating, a communication error between the driving support ECU assembly and the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is detected for approximately 0.2 seconds or more.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTCs (RADAR CRUISE 1, RADAR CRUISE 2)


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Powertrain > Radar Cruise2 > Clear DTCs
    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      Tech Tips

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
