RADIATOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT

    Click here

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


  3. REMOVE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER (w/ Cover)

    Click here

  4. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

      Detach the 2 clamps and disconnect the hood lock connector.

    2. B002K5LC01
      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD

      Remove the 3 bolts and disconnect the hood lock assembly from the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

    3. Detach the clamp and disconnect the hood lock control cable assembly from the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

  5. REMOVE NO. 6 INVERTER BRACKET

      *A for 2WD
      *B for AWD

      Remove the 2 bolts and No. 6 inverter bracket from upper radiator support sub-assembly.

  6. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. B002JCU

      Detach the 3 claws and remove the front radiator side air guide plate LH from the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

    2. Detach the 3 claws and disconnect the front radiator side air guide plate RH from the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

    3. B002K3S

      Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the 2 connectors and wire harness from the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

    4. B002HPF

      Remove the 2 bolts and 2 radiator support sub-assemblies from the upper radiator support sub-assembly.

    5. B002K9W

      Remove the 5 bolts and upper radiator support sub-assembly.

  7. DISCONNECT NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose from the radiator assembly.

  8. DISCONNECT WATER BY-PASS PIPE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the water by-pass pipe from the radiator reservoir.

    2. B002KU7

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose from the radiator assembly.

    3. Detach the 3 clamps and disconnect the water by-pass pipe from the fan shroud.

  9. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE


    1. B002JT0

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 2 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.

  10. DISCONNECT NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE


    1. B002HQD

      Detach the clamp and disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose from the fan shroud.

    2. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 radiator hose from the radiator assembly.

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 2 INVERTER COOLING HOSE


    1. B002KSI

      Detach the clamp and disconnect the No. 2 inverter cooling hose from the fan shroud.

  12. DISCONNECT NO. 4 INVERTER COOLING HOSE

    1. Detach the clamp and disconnect the No. 4 inverter cooling hose from the fan shroud.

  13. DISCONNECT NO. 5 INVERTER COOLING HOSE

    1. Detach the 4 clamps and disconnect the No. 5 inverter cooling hose from the fan shroud.

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD

    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the No. 2 fan shroud from the radiator assembly.

  15. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY WITH FAN SHROUD


    1. B002KLY

      Remove the radiator assembly with fan shroud from the vehicle.

      Note

      Do not damage the core of the cooler condenser assembly and radiator assembly.

  16. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. B002JQ5

      Remove the 2 bolts and radiator assembly from the fan shroud with cooling fan.

      Note

      Do not damage the core of the radiator assembly.

  17. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION


    1. Remove the 2 radiator support cushions from the 2 radiator support sub-assemblies.

  18. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT


    1. Remove the 2 lower radiator supports from the fan shroud.
