PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH)

   
   

   1. for LHD:

         *a	Component without harness connected Integration Control and Panel Assembly (Electric Parking Brake Switch)

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 9 (LOK1) -16 (GND1) OFF(Release) 97.09 to 107.31kΩ ON(Lock) 2.09 to 2.31kΩ Switch not operated 97.09 to 107.31kΩ 10 (LOK2) -16 (GND1) OFF(Release) 5.51 to 6.09kΩ ON(Lock) 1.045 to 1.155kΩ Switch not operated 5.51 to 6.09kΩ 1 (RLS1) -16 (GND1) OFF(Release) 1.045 to 1.155kΩ ON(Lock) 5.51 to 6.09kΩ Switch not operated 5.51 to 6.09kΩ 2 (RLS2) -16 (GND1) OFF(Release) 1.045 to 1.155kΩ ON(Lock) 5.51 to 6.09kΩ Switch not operated 5.51 to 6.09kΩ

         If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (electric parking brake switch).

   2. for RHD:

         Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

         Standard Resistance

         Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 16 (LOK1) -9 (GND1) OFF(Release) 97.09 to 107.31kΩ ON(Lock) 2.09 to 2.31kΩ Switch not operated 97.09 to 107.31kΩ 15 (LOK2) -9 (GND1) OFF(Release) 5.51 to 6.09kΩ ON(Lock) 1.045 to 1.155kΩ Switch not operated 5.51 to 6.09kΩ 8 (RLS1) -9 (GND1) OFF(Release) 1.045 to 1.155kΩ ON(Lock) 5.51 to 6.09kΩ Switch not operated 5.51 to 6.09kΩ 7 (RLS2) -9 (GND1) OFF(Release) 1.045 to 1.155kΩ ON(Lock) 5.51 to 6.09kΩ Switch not operated 5.51 to 6.09kΩ

         If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly (electric parking brake switch).
