DESCRIPTION

The parking brake ECU assembly receives vehicle tilt information from the deceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) via CAN communication.

One of the following conditions is met:


  1. An error signal is sent from the deceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) for approx. 0.3 seconds.

  2. While the deceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) signal is judged to be stuck, starting off and stopping the vehicle occurs 16 times.

  3. Comparison error between deceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) 1 and deceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly) 2 output values occurs for 60 seconds or more.

Note

When replacing the deceleration sensor (airbag ECU assembly), perform zero point calibration.

  1. CHECK DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)

  2. CHECK DTC (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTC.

      Chassis > Electric Parking Brake > Clear DTCs

    2. Turn the power switch off.

    3. Check for DTC.
