HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. PRECAUTION

    Note

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE ECU INTEGRATION BOX RH (for LHD)

    *b Bolt

    1. Disconnect the 13 connectors and clamp.

    2. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and ECU integration box RH.

  6. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU (for LHD)

    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the hybrid vehicle control ECU from the ECU integration box RH.

  7. REMOVE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU (for RHD)

      *a Nut
      *b Bolt

      Disconnect the 4 connectors from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.

    2. Remove the bolt, nut and hybrid vehicle control ECU.
