HV RELAY ASSEMBLY INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT HYBRID BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Inspect SMRB:


      1. A00007RC52
        *1 x2-1 (+)
        *2 t5-1 (CBI)
        *3 y1
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Hybrid Battery Junction Block Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        x2-1 (+) - t5-1 (CBI) Auxiliary battery voltage not applied between terminals y1-4 (SMRB) and y1-2 (GND) 10 kΩ or higher
        Auxiliary battery voltage applied between terminals y1-4 (SMRB) and y1-2 (GND) Below 1 Ω

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        y1-4 (SMRB) - y1-2 (GND) -40 to 80°C (-40 to 176°F) 18.4 to 36.3 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the hybrid battery junction block assembly.

    2. Inspect SMRG:


      1. A00007RC54
        *1 x3-1 (-)
        *2 t6-1 (CEI)
        *3 y1
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Hybrid Battery Junction Block Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        x3-1 (-) - t6-1 (CEI) Auxiliary battery voltage not applied between terminals y1-1 (SMRG) and y1-2 (GND) 10 kΩ or higher
        Auxiliary battery voltage applied between terminals y1-1 (SMRG) and y1-2 (GND) Below 1 Ω

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        y1-1 (SMRG) - y1-2 (GND) -40 to 80°C (-40 to 176°F) 18.4 to 36.3 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the hybrid battery junction block assembly.

    3. Inspect SMRP:


      1. A00007RC55
        *1 x3-1 (-)
        *2 t6-1 (CEI)
        *3 y1
        *a

        Component without harness connected

        (Hybrid Battery Junction Block Assembly)

        Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        x3-1 (-) - t6-1 (CEI) Auxiliary battery voltage is applied between terminals y1-3 (SMRP) and y1-2 (GND) 10 kΩ or higher
        Auxiliary battery voltage applied between terminals y1-3 (SMRP) and y1-2 (GND) 28.5 to 31.5 Ω

      2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        y1-3 (SMRP) - y1-2 (GND) -40 to 80°C (-40 to 176°F) 112 to 274 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the hybrid battery junction block assembly.
